Karsten is from Sinsheim in Germany and has been training in martial arts since 1975. Karsten started his journey into martial arts first with Judo followed by Karate after which he began training in Taekwondo and Kick Boxing.
Karsten’s achievements include:
- 8th Dan Kickboxing
- 8th Dan Taekwondo
- 3rd Dan Yin Do Jutsu (Weapons)
- World Vice President – A.F.S.O. (World All Fight System Organization)
- 42 World Championships in 9 different styles
- More than 50 European championship titles
- Over 200 German championship titles in 9 different styles
Karsten is also the owner of the Dragon Sport organisation which has been operating for the past 25 years.
Karsten lives in Germany and travels to Melbourne most years since the first Fight for Life in 2010.
